Virtual Number (DID – Direct Inward Dialing) is a phone line (which can be fixed or mobile), connected to your PBX at Nest cloud. Without wiring and without installations, you can use it anywhere in the world where there is internet access. Example: you acquire New York virtual number and attend calls to that number using a desk phone or a mobile at your company in Dubai (for example),
Modernize your business: Add contact numbers in other cities, so your customers can contact you locally. For a low monthly rate, you can add multi-seat numbers so that customers from all over the world can get in touch with you without making a long distance call.
Benefits of Virtual Numbers (DID)
DID Virtual Number offers many benefits mainly for companies or for those who need to have presence by telephone in various regions. Through this service, your customer can call you as if you were making a local call. This is a reality thanks to the Virtual Numbers provided by Nest.
As all services provided by Nest, DID Numbers have the following advantages:
Nest services can be provided on a new or an existing number. This way you do not have to change your number. This is possible by simply asking for Portability of your Number directly to Nest. Our team will verify the location of your line and make the Portability of your current operator to another operator authorized by Telecommunications Regulator and this allows the interconnection to your Pabx in Nest’s cloud.
Number Portability takes place between three and fifteen days depending on your location and can be made for fixed or mobile lines.
During the period of porting your number, Nest’s services will continue to operate in a provisional number. The unavailability of the service on your line may occur during the so-called transition period, the time interval between deactivating and activating the user access code. This period revolves around 2 hours in 99% of cases, and rarely exceeds 24 hours.
At any moment, you can ask to port your number to any other authorized operator and there is no limit on how many times you can migrate your operator keeping your number.
